Sonam Sahu
Sonam is an accomplished climate change professional with over 10 years of expertise in climate action planning, urban development, and environmental sustainability. With a solid foundation in architecture, urban planning, and a deep commitment to addressing climate challenges, she brings a unique blend of analytical rigor and managerial acumen to her work. With experiences in India, Japan, and USA, her work has sprawled in multiple countries including Singapore, Switzerland, and Canada.
Her diverse career journey began in 2014, and has since spanned roles in research institutions, private enterprises, startups, and academic settings. Most recently, Sonam served as a Climate Action Planner at Ascent Environmental, an environmental consultancy in California, where she played a key role in assisting government agencies to craft and execute comprehensive Climate Action Plans. Holding a master's degree from IIT Roorkee and a Ph.D. from Kyoto University, Japan, Sonam’s passion lies in driving urban climate resilience through policy advocacy, capacity building, and fostering collaboration between stakeholders.

Kashika Madaan
Kashika brings over eight years of extensive experience in Sustainability and CSR, where she has been instrumental in driving meaningful impact through innovative CSR strategies. She excels in developing ESG strategies that not only address sustainability challenges but also create long-term value for businesses. Her skills in stakeholder engagement, regulatory compliance, and ESG reporting have enabled her to successfully integrate sustainability into some of the most respected organizations, including Avasant, PwC, Capgemini, and Paytm.
She has led a range of social development initiatives with a particular focus on livelihoods, women's empowerment, and education, ensuring that these projects deliver tangible benefits to communities while aligning with corporate goals. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from JIIT and a Master’s in Development Studies from Azim Premji University, which provides her with a solid academic foundation to complement her practical experience. Her multidisciplinary background, coupled with her passion for sustainability, positions her as a thought leader in the field, committed to driving positive social and environmental change.
